National Exporters Registry – Frequently Asked Questions

1. Is electronic registration mandatory, or can I submit the documents in paper form?

Yes. Electronic registration is mandatory.

2. What types of exporters are currently registered?

There are three types of exporters:

  • Trader Exporter (acting on behalf of others)

  • Producer-Exporter

  • Agricultural Exporter

3. What types of activities are covered under the Agricultural Exporter category?

Agricultural exporters may engage in:

  • Animal products: sheep, cattle, camels, and fish.

  • Plant products: vegetables and fruits.

  • Grains, seeds, and barley.

4. What documents are required for a Producer-Exporter?

The following documents are required:

  • Declaration

  • Industrial Registration

  • Personal ID

  • Chamber of Commerce Registration

5. What documents are required for a Trader Exporter (acting on behalf of others) and an Agricultural Exporter?

The following documents are required:

  • Declaration

  • Commercial Registration

  • Personal ID

  • Chamber of Commerce Registration

6. What is the registration fee for the National Exporters Registry?

The registration fee is SYP 50,000 in the new Syrian currency, equivalent to SYP 5,000,000 in the old currency.

7. How can I pay the electronic registration fee?

The fee can be paid through Sham Cash by transferring the required amount to the Export Authority's account.

8. How can I prove that my company is registered with Customs after completing the registration process?

A certificate is issued by the Ministry confirming the registration. The certificate contains an electronic QR code that can be scanned to verify and authenticate your company's certificate.

10. Does the National Exporters Registry provide direct financial or logistical support?

A study is currently underway to determine the available forms of financial and logistical support.

11. Is the certificate electronic or paper-based, and how will I receive it?

The certificate is electronic. It will be sent to the exporter via the official email address of the Export Authority (EPSDA).

12. How long is the certificate valid?

The certificate is valid for one year, starting from the date of receipt.

13. How can I register in the National Exporters Registry?

To register, follow these steps:

  1. Visit the Export Authority's website and create a new account.

  2. After completing the registration, a confirmation email will be sent to your Gmail address to verify your email.

  3. Open the email and click "Verify Email".

  4. Return to the website and log in using your registered email address.

  5. Go to "Dashboard" or "Exporters Registry" and start the registration process.

  6. Complete the following sections:

    • Company Information

    • Required Documents

    • Annual Export Records

    • Payment

  7. Finally, click "Submit for Review" to complete the application process.

Application Review Process

After submitting the application, the Exporters Department reviews and verifies all submitted information and documents.

  • If the application is complete and meets all requirements:
    The exporter will receive an email confirming approval, with the export certificate attached.

  • If the application is incomplete or does not meet the requirements:
    The application will be rejected. The exporter should review the reason for rejection through the website, make the necessary corrections, and resubmit the application for review.
