Launch of the National Electronic Export Registry: A strategic step to support exporters in Syria
The Local Production & Export & Development Authority (EDPA), in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy and Industry, announced the launch of the National Electronic Export Registry — a strategic step aimed at organizing the work of Syrian exporters, streamlining registration and accreditation procedures, and issuing official certificates electronically.
The registry is part of the wider effort to develop Syria's export environment and to enable producing companies to reach international markets within a professional, trusted framework — with a unified national exporter database that supports decision-making and reinforces transparency.
Officials stressed that the digital platform will give exporters a single channel for submitting data and documents, tracking application status in real time, paying fees online, and receiving an accredited certificate with a verifiable QR code — saving time and effort and strengthening the confidence of trading partners in Syrian products.
